Chris has over 30 years’ experience dealing with and managing senior management construction and safety issues. Prior to setting up Ottaway & Associates Ltd, Chris has held executive positions with:

·         1980 – 1984 London Hospital Engineering Officer.

·         1984 – 1987 Islington Health Authority District Design Engineer.

·         1987 – 1990 London Borough of Hackney Directorate of Technical and Contract Services Central Mechanical Group Engineer.

·         1990 – 1992 Kent County Council Mid Kent Building Maintenance Department Head of Maintenance.

Joe Cook

Communications Director

Joe joined us in 2019 as part of our business growth objective.

He looks after all company communications from mobile phones to our IT systems.

He also heads up our Pre-qualification and Bid operations.

Having joined the company in 1996 to help develop our health and safety activities, Brian has over 30 years safety experience in fields as diverse as Civil Engineering, Logistic Engineering, Road Haulage, Manufacture and Aviation. He has travelled extensively in the UK, The Far East, Middle East, United States and in Europe.

Lou joined Ottaway in 2017 and looks after company administration.

She has had a very impressive career in compliance issues working for local authorities and brings her wealth of experience to the business.

Dave joined Ottaway in 2010 and Heads up our Health and Safety Operation - covering the full spectrum of consultancy and site inspection activities. He is also a CDM Consultant and works with Chris on our larger CDM appointments.
